Proudly serving Hamilton and
Burlington area skiers for almost 30 years, McMaster sports has
undergone major
renovations to the ski shop in the pasyt years to show their commitment to performance ski equipment.
For 2008-2009, McMaster
Sports announces the introduction of the Armada Ski line, a brand that
continues its leading growth as the prevalent player in the twin tip
market. Armada manufactures a full line of twin tip skis for
juniors, women and men. There are models engineered for all
mountain and big mountain skiing as well as designs for freestyle and
park/pipe fun. All Armada skis are assembled in Austrian
factories and utilize quality materials and craftsmanship to produce
great skis.
THE ARMADA AR6
The AR6 is the
all-mountain ski for the everyday park skier. A new AR Core 1 makes our
all-mountain park model lighter and stronger. A low-maintenance, burly,
base and edge assembled using high-performance ABS Sidewall Construction
makes this the most versatile park model we offer. Hold your edge on icy
morning turns and take offs, send it off cat tracks and booters in
afternoon slush, and pop a nollie onto that down-flat-down box you’ve
been eyeing up all season.
THE ARMADA CANTIKA for WOMEN
Listen up ladies. Lift
tickets and season passes are expensive enough. Start getting more out
of every turn with this affordable all-mountain ride. The Fleet Cantika
covers the area between the ARW and ARVw at all ability levels. It
serves up enough waist width for storm-ride shredding and enough sidecut
and flex for snappy turns on groomers and ice. First tracks to late-day
slush, Cantika takes anything your mountain can dish out, including the
park. It’s low maintenance, low cost offering for women of all ages and
abilities.
THE ARMADA EL REY
Our newest men’s model
took the industry by surprise last year. The El Rey is our men’s cap
construction, all-mountain offering. The 2008-2009 version is lighter
and slightly softer, but stronger from its new and more-refined Fleet
Core 3. Its burly Cap Construction, mid-fat waist, continuous flex and
minimal maintenance seal the deal. This model will cut up powder, arc on
the groomers and shred in the park. Whether a first-time lesson, ducking
work for some turns or bringing your skills to the Open, the price will
leave enough to “Give ‘Er,” as TJ Schiller would have it.
